For my first blog, I’d like to introduce my personal favorite dessert places in Gangnam, Seoul. With so many cafes popping up in Seoul, it can be hard to decide on the best place to go to for perfect dessert in your tight schedule (if you are to visit Seoul). Here are my recommendations! Enjoy!
Sweet Dessert Heaven! YUM!!! YUM!!! YUM!!! Lab O is a dessert hot place located near Dosan Park, Apgujeong area. If you wish to get cool instagram photos while traveling Seoul, this is one of the most instagrammed cafes among Seoul locals.
The atmosphere is charming with endless choices of desserts.
The signature dish is Mama’s Brownie with Real Banana Cream. Befitting its name ‘lab’, this brownie is quite unique.
Served warm in a pan, comes with banana cream (with tiny pieces of walnuts in the cream).
It is also fun to draw pictures with the cream on the brownie. Perfect harmony from warm brownie and banana cream!!! It is simply beautiful!!!
Good Night and Good Luck
Looking for the perfect cheesecake place in Seoul? Located in Garosu-gil, Gangnam, Good Night and Good Luck is a haven for all cheesecake lovers!
Photo: 80% Cheese Cake with Americano
It is so smooth and silky, rich but not too dense, perfect with mild Americano, stylish plating with bold color contrast creating lasting impressions.
It is small and cozy, inviting atmosphere.
There are cute items (candle warmers, mugs, cellphone case, etc.) for sale in the store.
Mr. Holmes Bake House in Seoul
Famous Mr. Holmes Bake House from San Francisco has landed in Seoul, Korea! I Got Baked in SEOUL!
34, Apgujeong-ro 10-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Everyday 10:00~22:30
I’ve seen so many pictures of this sign on Instagram……………….. I had to get it, too!!!
I’ve read an article about this place that so many people in San Francisco are lining up early in the morning to get their hands on their cruffin. A cruffin, their signature item, is a cross between a croissant and a muffin, croissants baked in muffin tins, then rolled in sugar and filled with pastry cream. Fortunately(?), in Seoul, you don’t have to wait in an early morning line like San Francisco. Try it, then you will definately understand the wait. Cruffins are filled with a different flavor each day. You can check ‘Flavor Update’ from their official instagram page. This is place is so popular in Korea, too, that they just opened their second store at Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam. Hope you liked my first blog. See you soon in my next post!
Cruffin Sales: 12:30, 18:30 (twice a day)
