TERMS AND CONDITIONS

WE, Shop & Fetch, OFFER THIS SERVICE BASED ON THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET OUT BELOW. BY SIGNING UP FOR THIS SERVICE AND BY CONTINUING TO USE THIS SERVICE, YOU ARE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, AS MAY BE AMENDED FROM TIME TO TIME.

  1. SERVICES

    1. While we will endeavour to make prompt execution of orders, you agree that we will not be responsible for any delays. We do not accept any requests to amend or cancel orders placed using the Shop & Fetch Service once we place an order to the seller. All orders once placed are considered final.

    2. Our service is not applicable for the following: pre-order, promotions, timed sale & perishable products. We reserve the right to refuse such requests if they fall under any of the above order types.

  1. CHARGES

    1. The charges for Shop & Fetch Service includes the following components:

i. The cost of the product converted to USD at the prevailing exchange rate as specified by us;
ii. Non-refundable Shop & Fetch fee for each order successfully placed;
iii. Shipping charges for the shipping of items from Korea to the destination country;
iv. All applicable goods and services tax;
v. Any other charges which we may notify you from time to time

vi. You are responsible for duties or any other taxes based on the prevailing rate on all items imported into the destination country.

    1. We will notify you of the amount you have to pay for handling fees, shipping, delivery, duties, goods and service taxes and any other applicable charges.

  1. PAYMENTS

    1. Acceptable methods of payments are credit card and PayPal.

    2. All charges must be paid in full. We may detain the product(s) for which such payment has not been made or made in full, until full payment is made to our satisfaction. In the foregoing event, you shall compensate Shop & Fetch for the cost of the storage of the said product(s). Shop & Fetch reserves the right to discard and/or dispose of the product(s) in any manner it deems fit, if you fail to make payment of the applicable charges within 30 days of our notification to do so.

     4. REFUND, EXCHANGES, AND RETURN OF ITEMS

4.1 We act as the logistic intermediary between you and the manufacturer(s) of the product.

4.2 Any manufacturing fault and/or product warranty issues shall be between you and the manufacturer of the product. We are not responsible or liable in any way for any manufacturing defect, or any resulting incidents or loss. 

4.2.1 However in the event of a manufacturing fault, if we agree to exchange the product, you will be responsible for all costs involved in shipping the product back to Korea, including but not limited to the shipping charges, duties or any other taxes, all applicable goods and services tax and such other charges which we may notify you from time to time. 

4.2.2 With regards to product warranty, as the products are shipped internationally, we shall not be liable in any way and shall not be required to support you in your international warranty claims with the manufacturer of the product. However, we shall, at our sole discretion, support you in your international warranty claims, upon payment of a fee as may be advised by us to you in writing, for our services. 

4.3 We do not offer refunds, rebates or money-back guarantees in relation to any product, even though such offers may be stated on the merchant website. We do not allow for returns of the product to us unless the product is damaged in the process of delivery. 

    5. SHIPPING POLICY

The shipping of the product is done through the Shop & Fetch service, which is included in the price of the product that is charged to you and subject to the attached Shop & Fetch terms and conditions.

   6. PRODUCTS

The quality of the product(s) and the accuracy of the claims are the responsibility of the manufacturer of the product(s). We do not warrant, represent or guarantee the quality of the product(s) or the claims made by the manufacturer. To the full extent permissible by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties (whether expressed or implied) including but not limited to, that the product(s) will meet your function and/or requirements or be fit for a particular purpose. We shall not be responsible for any loss or injury or damage incurred thereby.

  7. PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED ITEMS

The following list is a non-exclusive sampling of items that are restricted, cannot be shipped or, depending on your destination country, may either require an import license, additional documentation and/or cause problems and delays during the customs review of your shipment:

1. Combustible/flammable items (paints, oils, lighters, perfume, nail polish)

2. Any type of pressurized can (hair spray, shaving cream, spray cans of any type)

3. Hazardous materials (matches, chemicals, explosives)

  1. Firearms, weaponry and their parts: military, police and tactical equipment of any kind, including guns, gun replicas, gun accessories, gun components (magazines, clips and rail systems), ammunition, knives, swords, compound bows, crossbows, discharge weapons such as shock batons or stun guns, tooling for guns or gun parts, optical scopes, laser sights, night sights, night visions goggles, handcuffs and other restraints, surveillance equipment

  2. Agricultural products such as tobacco, plants and seeds (restricted to some destinations)

  3. Coffee (restricted to some destinations)

  4. Perishable foods (refrigerated, frozen, fresh/raw fruits and vegetables, etc.)

  5. Animals and products made with animal skin (furs)

  6. Alcohol

  7. Cash, currency, money orders, cashiers’ checks, bank drafts, bearer bonds and collectible stamps and coins. Jewellery and precious stones are (a) restricted to some countries and (b) can only be insured up to $500 maximum and any shipments of jewellery that exceeds the $500 carriage limit is uninsured and Member assumes all risk of loss above such limit.

  12. Government IDs and licenses, or items that claim to be, or that look similar to, government identification documents. This includes uniforms and badges or patches designed to look like official government-issue.

   8. LIABILITIES

8.1 We shall take all reasonable precautions to prevent unauthorized persons from having access to the product(s) and shall also take all reasonable precautions against loss of or damage to the same during the delivery to you. 

8.2 Our liability is limited to amounts specified in the Shop & Fetch terms & conditions.

8.3    We shall not in any case be liable for:
i. Indirect or consequential loss or damage;
ii. Any loss or damage arising:
a. from our failure to perform any of our obligations under these terms and conditions if such failure is the result of circumstances outside our control;
b. from any loss of secrecy in communication arising from the use of the service;
c. from the hazardous fragile or brittle nature of the mechanical derangement of the items;
d. as a consequence of delay or confiscation by any competent authorities as a result of the discovery of prohibited items or otherwise; or
e. from the quality of the product(s) that you purchased.

  9. AMENDMENTS

We reserve the right to amend, vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions from time to time without notice, and the amended terms and conditions shall apply.

 10. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

The laws of the Republic of Singapore shall govern these terms and conditions, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore in respect of any dispute or difference arising out of and/or in connection with these terms and conditions with the right reserved to us to initiate proceedings in the courts of any other country having or exercising jurisdiction on such dispute or difference.

  • How do I place a Shop & Fetch order?
  1. REQUEST FORM

Simply copy and paste the URL of the website where you saw the product in our Shop & Fetch request form. Clarify options, such as color, size, quantity, etc. for each item. In the event you don’t know the URL, upload a photo and detailed description of the product. We will try our best to find them.

  1. INVOICE

Once we receive your request, we will send you an invoice of the total cost including our service and shipping fee in US$. Any incomplete information will delay the processing of your request. The invoice is valid for 48 hours only.

  1. PAYMENT

Please make a payment before the expiry of the invoice.

  1. PURCHASING

Once your payment is completed, we will proceed with the order. When we receive the merchandise from the vendor, we will inform you by email.

  1. SHIPPING COST

We will issue an invoice of the shipping cost when you confirm the completion of your final order by email. Once the payment is made, we will ship all your orders at our warehouse to you.

  • How long does the shipment take?

Delivery time from online stores to our warehouse varies. Once your orders arrive at our warehouse, we will inform you by email. (It may take longer during important holidays in Korea i.e. Chuseok, Lunar New Year etc.)

 

  • How long can my package be stored at your warehouse? Is there any corresponding fee?

Shop & Fetch will hold the package for 21 days from the processed date without charge for consolidation of shipping payment. However, when packages are held for more than 21 days from the processed date, it is chargeable at the rate of US$1.50 per package per day. Shop & Fetch reserves the right to dispose the package which is more than 30 days from the final invoice date.

 

  • Can I edit or cancel my order?

We will handle the cancellation in accordance with the seller’s return policy before your order is dispatched from our warehouse. You will be responsible for all return shipping fees. A cancellation request will incur US$15.00 cancellation charges. There will be no refund of the handling charges in the event you cancel after an order. We will refund your money once we have confirmed the refund from the seller.

 

  • Why are the packages from sellers opened?

We open all original packages when we receive them from sellers to check products’ condition. Once we have checked that the product is flawless, we repack it for the final shipping.

 

  • Can I return/cancel my order after I receive it?

You cannot cancel your order once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse in any case.
